This leatherback sea turtle was filmed nesting during the day at Navío beach on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico.

Daytime nesting is very rare for this endangered species. The eggs were transported by the DNRA up the beach, away from the waterline.

This beach has an ever shifting coastline because of the direction it faces and many times large sections of sand are washed away overnight with a good storm.

Presentation video produced for the City of Sacramento’s ‘Sacramento READS’ third grade literacy program. Used by the City in live presentations, grant proposal kits, on the official website and through social media marketing via Facebook and Twitter.

Kinetic Illusions produced a series of commercial promotional videos for the Downtown Ice Rink in cooperation with the sponsors and the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. Each video had a slightly different theme to appeal to the target demographics. This video featured the proximity to the Downtown Plaza Shopping center, appealing to young adults and parents who come for the skating and stay for the shopping.

Sacramento’s original outdoor ice skating rink. Open daily through January 17, 2011 @ 7th & K Street The 7,000 square foot ice rink can accommodate up to 150 skaters. The rink is located at 7th and K Streets (across from the Westfield Downtown Plaza) and is a short stroll from Old Sacramento, the State Capitol, popular downtown restaurants and light rail trains.

These were shot on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico with several GoPro cameras mounted on different parts the the rental vehicles and driven all over the island.

Prime Vieques Parking Spot #2 is the historic Spanish fort overlooking the ferry dock and the town of Isabel Segunda (the biggest and only town on Vieques Island). The fort is also an island history museum that is open to the public and host to several music and cultural events every year.

Playa el Gallito is located on the north shore of Vieques Island, just between the W Resort & Spa and the Vieques Airport.

On a clear evening you can watch the clouds swirl around the top of the El Yunque Rain Forest, dragging grey skirts of rain through the rays of the setting sun. The Vieques ferry will arrive and depart to your right while Vieques Air Link planes take off above your head. Wait for your friends to arrive or for the night to begin at Playa el Gallito.

The Rompeolas or ‘wave breakers’ are located on the north shore of Vieques Island, and are accessed by driving behind the new airport, past the Great Ceiba Tree and then alongside the old airstrip you may have read about in Hunter Thompson’s ‘The Rum Diary‘. This Prime Parking Spot is about 1/2 mile west of the breakers, drive slowly thru the families of horses and stay off of the sand.

During the day, the leeward side of the rompeolas makes a great beginner snorkel spot. Protected from the wind and surf, there’s lots to see under the old pier.

Watch the sun set behind El Yunque, the rain forest across the sound, and keep an eye out for nesting turtles and passing dolphin. This is a very underrated Parking Spot, mostly used by Nature Nerds for star gazing by wine light on a new moon. Enjoy.

Playa Media Luna is accessed through the Sun Bay Nature Reserve on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. As of 2011, the entrance fee is $2/vehicle.
Media Luna is a calm, protected beach with excellent bird watching opportunities in the lagoon just behind it.
When Parking here, we highly recommend bringing a hammock and a thick book.
Camping sites are available through the Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources.
