They grabbed a bag full of cameras and batteries and headed down to the Vieques Conservation & Historical Trust to meet Mark Martin for a quick briefing, geared up and were suddenly on a small solar-powered boat and kayak.
They shot everything as it happened from Cayo Afuera and the sugar cane pier with no scripting, just documenting the day and the reasons behind the lionfish hunting.
This environmental educational video is one of a series produced by Kinetic Illusions and VCHT. Mark Martin Bras, filmmaker Karl Alexander and Environmental Educator Captain Sharon Grasso have worked together for many years producing bi-lingual multimedia messaging for the Caribbean islands.
Sharon and Mark are internationally recognized experts in bioluminescence and Karl’s conservation print, web and video productions have been presented throughout Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, Japan and most recently at the Presidential Council on Environmental Conservation in Washington DC (presented by Mark Martin Bras).
