Taiko drums are just cool no matter how you cut ‘em, so when we were asked to make a promotional video for Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar’s Sushi Sumo Summer event, we turned up the bass and sliced and folded together a fun project. This event takes place in Denver Colorado and features sushi workshops, sumo wrestling, traditional Japanese music, dancing, origami classes and of course, the rockin taiko drum sessions.

This footage was shot on the Sony XDCAM EX and edited at Kinetic Creative in Sacramento.
