This leatherback sea turtle was filmed nesting during the day at Navío beach on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. Daytime nesting is very rare for this endangered species. The eggs were transported by the DNRA up the beach, away from the waterline. This beach has an ever shifting coastline because of the direction it faces and many times large sections of sand are washed away overnight with a good storm.

MoreContinuing list of creative quotes culled from books read / sites gleaned Creative people who can't help but explore other mental territories are at greater risk, just as someone who climbs a mountain is more at risk than someone who just walks along a village lane.--R.D. Laing Creative risk taking is essential to success in any goal where the stakes are high. Thoughtless risks are destructive, of course, but perhaps even more wasteful is thoughtless caution which prompts inaction and promotes failure to seize opportunity.--Gary Ryan Blair (Mind Munchies : A Delicious Assortment of Brain Snacks!)

What used to be the city's Main Street, the major thru-fare and biggest artery carrying the pulse of downtown's economy has many business owners and residents likening the closure to a long-term stroke for the city. Like many humans who experience a cerebral infarction, there are obvious physical symptoms of this closure including sagging, shuttered store fronts and accumulations of grocery-cart storage facilities that can't remember where they left their socks. Cobwebs of inactivity ...
